Mindfulness & Meditation
Meditation is an effective way to calm your busy mind. It can slow the thousands of thoughts that can overwhelm your daily life. This can lead to reduced stress and anxiety. If you are looking to enhance yourself awareness and improve emotional health then our Mindfulness and meditation programme could be a great fit for you.
We will introduce a range of mindfulness and meditation techniques over 8 weeks.
- Week 1: Learning the difference between Mindfulness and Meditation, and the powerful combination of both.
- Week 2: Attention Training - learn how to overcome high stress by shifting your attention and bringing yourself back into balance emotionally and physically.
- Week 3: We learn that “We are not our thoughts” and how to free ourselves from our internal critic.
- Week 4: Emotions - what are they? Discover how to free yourself from emotions that are holding you captive to your past.
- Week 5: Recognising the patterns of your mind. Learn powerful tools to shift subconscious thoughts/beliefs that no longer serve you.
- Week 6: Listening and Communication with others and yourself. Tune into how we receive and perceive conversations between others and ourselves. Learn how to cultivate an awareness towards negative thoughts and stop them from running your life.
- Week 7: Earth Connection and Story Telling. Learn how to connect to nature to reduce systems of stress and anxiety. Removing our story telling selves.
- Week 8: Acceptance of what is. Adopt a daily practice of being grateful and watch how happy your life becomes. Restore yourself to a state of balance, wholeness and wellbeing.
Held Monday and Wednesday nights from 6.30pm to 7.30pm for 8 weeks at Living Chiropractic & Wellness.
Cost: $15 per class or $100 prepay 8 week course
